Nigerian rapper, Vector has taken a swipe at people who believe that ”God will hear them more when they shout in church.”

According to the rapper, such act shows how selfish people are because they want God to answer them first.

Vector tweeted;

“Why the hell do people shout in church believing God would hear them more. If anything, it shows how selfish we are cos the volume increases mostly cos the individual vuvuzela wants “God” to answer him/her first. That! My brethren, isn’t Christian. That’s competition”

Mr Rapper you are ignorant of the Ways of The Lord. Ever heard the phrase: Make a joyful noise unto  The Lord?. During the shouting etc,  it only shows your state of mind during worshipping, it does not mean that should attract extra favour to you by God. In actual fact, God hears you in the solemnity of your worship. Remember Hannah when she poured out her soul to God despite she remained mute during the worship? God who knew what she was going through rewarded her accordingly. Remember King David when he was so much execuberant when thanking God after some victories he recorded? his wife thought that execuberance was not worthy of a King of Israel, she therefore rebuked him, but she received the curse of God for her behaviour.,
