Dakkada Towers In Akwa Ibom, The Tallest Architectural Masterpiece In The Niger Delta

Built by Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, Dakkada Towers is a 21 storey smart office complex located in the central business district of Uyo, it was built under 2 years. The Mega project was handled by a Turkish construction company, VKS.

Dakkada Towers has a 500 capacity car park, the building contains all necessary facilities and equipment of a smart building. Some of the facilities include four elevators, two emergency exits, fire protection sensors and an aviation wing.

The tower has an access control with components like card reader, biometric control keypads, central stand-alone server workstation, electric lock hardware cabling for doors, boom barrier for cars, automated cards, automated turnstiles, fire protected doors and time attendance reader.

It also has a firefighting electric system, fire extinguisher hose reel, technical rooms E30 cabling S90 fire, protection sprinkler system, intelligent smoke detectors and fire alarm panel connected to the CCTV room. The building has LED lighting, touchscreen control KNX occupancy and motion sensors, digitally Addressed Lighting Interface – DALI, and many more

It has a state-of-the-art communication gadgets in place with all accessories of a public address system including: speaker, combine audio+media via sms for evacuation, control station, UPS and amplifiers

The ground floor is designed to accommodate banks and canteens while the mechanical floor controls sewage and takes care of waste disposal.

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources and former Governor of Bayelsa State, Timipre Sylva, during his visit to the state, told reporters that the Dakkada Towers is built to world-class standard.

He said the Nigerian National Petroleum Commission (NNPC) has offered to take some floors in the building.

He said, “This is a world class building. The State Government has done very well in the area of infrastructure. I must say, this is sincere leadership exhibited by the government of the State

If the Igbos are stupid brainless zombies that you hate so much, why does your Nigerian leaders fight so hard to keep them? Why not let them go?

honestly speaking, i'd love to see the igbos leaving nigeria alone. lets see if they can accommodate each other, besides the loses they will incur parting with their establishments in other regions of Nigeria
