
In a shocking turn of events, a young man, widely known in social circles as a "big boy," has been apprehended for allegedly using a fraudulent credit alert to purchase a luxury Benz from a car dealer in Lagos. The suspect, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, was caught after the dealer realized the transaction was a scam.
The suspect reportedly walked into the dealership and after inspecting several cars, he settled on a sleek Mercedes-Benz, a vehicle worth millions of naira.
After selecting the car, he initiated a bank transfer on his mobile device and showed the dealer a confirmation alert indicating that the transaction had been completed successfully.
The suspect is currently in custody at the Ajuwe Aja Police Station, Lagos State facing charges of fraud and obtaining goods under false pretenes.
