In a recent development, officers of the Nigeria Police Force, Niger State Command, have apprehended a female suspect identified as Paulina Ayuba for impersonation. Ayuba was found dressed in Police camouflage uniform in the Maitumbi area of the state.
According to SP Wasiu Abiodun, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ayuba was also discovered to be in possession of a knife and Indian hemp at the time of her arrest.
In a statement released on his official social media account, Abiodun disclosed that two other suspects were apprehended for theft in Bida. These suspects were caught in possession of stolen goats.
The statement reads, "A female thuggery suspect, Paulina Ayuba, was arrested for false personation while dressed in Police camouflage uniform, with a knife and Indian hemp in Maitumbi.
"Additionally, two other suspected thieves were apprehended in Bida with stolen goats."
The Police command continues its efforts to maintain law and order across the state, urging members of the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities.
