During his visit to Canada for a "thank you" tour, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr. Peter Obi, disclosed that certain government agencies have been engaging in smear campaigns against him, organizing town hall meetings to discredit him.

Obi expressed his indifference to the situation, stating that despite facing continuous challenges from these agencies, he remains steadfast in his political endeavors. He emphasized the need to persevere and continue the positive trajectory set forth.

Speaking on the matter during an interaction in Canada, Obi highlighted the daily struggles he faces, noting that many would be surprised if they knew the extent of the challenges he encounters regularly.

While addressing questions about the last general election in Nigeria, Obi reaffirmed his commitment to his political goals despite the obstacles encountered. He urged his supporters to remain steadfast and proud of their achievements during the campaign.
