Former Nigerian Customs Sole Administrator, Omlago Ango, found himself embroiled in controversy as he allegedly damaged the Abuja home of his estranged wife in an attempt to forcibly take over the property.

Reports indicate that the incident unfolded on Monday afternoon when Ango arrived at the residence located in the upscale district of Abuja, accompanied by a group of individuals.

Eyewitnesses recounted a scene of chaos and confrontation as Ango and his companions forcefully gained entry into the property, disregarding objections from the estranged wife and causing extensive damage to the premises in the process.

Witnesses reported loud arguments and commotion emanating from the residence, prompting concerned neighbors to alert the authorities.

Upon arrival, law enforcement officers intervened to defuse the situation and restore order. However, by that time, significant damage had already been inflicted on the property, including broken windows, damaged doors, and vandalized fixtures.

The motive behind Ango's actions remains unclear, but speculation suggests that it may be related to an ongoing property dispute between the former couple.

The incident has sparked outrage among residents and garnered widespread attention on social media platforms, with many condemning the alleged actions of the former Customs Administrator.

Efforts to reach Ango for comment on the matter have so far been unsuccessful, and it remains uncertain whether any legal action will be taken in response to the reported incident.

Meanwhile, authorities have launched an investigation into the matter to ascertain the full extent of the damage and determine any necessary course of action.

The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of resolving disputes through peaceful and legal means, rather than resorting to confrontation and violence.
