Don't worry much about him,once this happens to his wife,sister,miom,or female frd. he will change his argument.I really don't understand why the people here are blaming the victim,this is a very common mistake that many of them have made and could make themseleves. Anyfriend that ask you to come meet them you meet them cause you already know that person and you trust them.
people here are being hypocrites not everyone knows what they know, not everyone knows that these men are capable of killing or rapeing.
This happpens ,and at the end of the day we should be blaming the rapist for rapeing a frd that does not want sex. Am sure she will never go near a man again.

I totally agree with you to a certain point. If she's a cheat, liar or whatever, i think it's fair game to get dumped. I've got no problem with the guy or his decision cos that's his personal problem. My angers lies on the rape act itself. I'm totally against the act of rape and will never accept it or any excuse justifying it. I don`t know where you live nor the generation you belong to but I smell a typical left-behind Nigerian mentality of the old generations.
First, the four persons involved where friends, probably very good friends that did things together. They live in the same area which suggests they know each other relatively well and they trusted each other. They might have, out of jealosy, wanted to have a taste of the girl before losing her to a man.
Secondly, modern guesthouses do have restaurants, bars, Foto halls, gardens, swimming pools etc. that are not meant only for overnight guests but for all guests who cares and pays for the use/services. That means you can switch into a guesthouse for a lunch or a drink or even a quality ice creme. >I do that< You mustn`t get a room! (not all)
When you put the above together and more, you`ll agree with me that there is a chance of TRICKING the girl "down the road"
As for how she got rapped without people in the guesthouse helping, something could have gone wrong. Think about getting her drunk or drugged. Think about tying her to a position with her mouth binded (3 men against one girl) etc. This might not be the best of possible explanations but just to show you that the story could be true
