Wizkid aka Ayodeji Balogun who turns 22 today, burst on national prominence in 2009 when he collaborated with M.I on his song, “Fast Money, Fast Cars” on the 'Talk About It' album. His distinct voice, singing style and penchant for great songwriting made people sit up and notice and it didn't take long for Banky W to sign him on to his Empire Mates Entertainment record label.
After featuring prominently on Banky’s “The W Experience” album to much acclaim, it was a matter of time before he released his own, much anticipated album, 'Superstar'. After a very successful album launch, with his career being white-hot right now, the sky is certainly not the limit for this young man. Happy Birthday Wiz! Here's wishing you many more happy years!
