Man Sentenced to 14 Years for molesting a 14 Years Old Girl

A 56 year old man by name Olatoke Samuel , was sentenced to 14 years in prison on Friday July 20, 2012 by Chief Magistrate Olawunmi Makanjuola of  Osogbo Magistrate’s Court for allegedly molesting a 14 year old girl who’s name remained anonymous.

The chief magistrate who said that the man was guilty of molesting in the without here consent at Abodua Compound, Osogbo, on June 11, 2012.

Mr Samuel was found guilty according to section 358 of the Criminal Code, Cap 34, Volume 2, of the Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2003.

The trial of the offender was followed by support from the state Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare, who’s Commissioner, Mrs. Adetoun Adegboyega, saw to the challenge of prosecuting rape cases in the state without money.
