Is it a sin not to pay tithe to the church in christian faith? (Page 2)

Its a big sin not to pay tithe,apart from the fact that it is a sin, things becomes tight for a man who do not pay tithe secondly No matter how much favour you get from people and money you make it will not be useful. so my brother when you pay part of your tithe without paying all you have only sowed a seed,tithe must be complete as it shows how much love you have for yourself and God. pls take it serious.

The benchmark for making Heaven is not in the THINGS YOU DO OR DON'T DO.
Only Grace can make us gain entrance into Heaven.That doesn't mean we don't have to do some work
to gain favour from God. The Bible says...Obedience is better than Sacrifice. If God says..'Pay Your tithe''....then Pay, else, You've disobeyed and it's a sin.

It is a sin not to pay tithe. Tithe is a commandment from God so every christian is expected to pay tithe.
the breathe we breathe, we are not paying for it, the only thing that God demanded for us is to pay our tithe, God does not need our money, the tithe is to be used to keep the house of God in order.

So my brother, if you are not paying tithe, know that you are disobeying God.

God has said it, but most pastors shld not capitalise on it cos only paying of tithe will not make u make heaven

In my opinion, the bible instructs us to pay one-tenth of our increase, whether you are working or not. If u ain't working and some1 gives u money, u ought 2 pay tithe from it cos it is an increase 2 u. Let's know by God all things consist and without him was nothing made that was made, so God wanting us to pay tithe is just to test our FAITHFULNESS in giving back 2 him.

So, be it money or farm produce or whatever that you receive, in anyway you can calculate 10% out of it, do so in all honesty cos we can only fool ourselves and never God. Take such to the house of God as our tithe becos somebody needs it in the church or in the society. We should never be concerned about who eats the tithe becos someone will definately eat it, but only believe God for His promises concernin tithers that He will open His windows of Heaven and pour you out a blessing .....

Remember, He that is faithful in little will also be faithful in much; so if we truly say we are xtians, let's truly believe and follow the bible which is our standard.... Pay ur tithes ooooo

it is very necessary for you to pay your tithes cos its God's command and theres  a blesin attached to it. has he has said in deut 28 dt if ye deligently obey my commandment and do that........and as we know to obey is beter dn sacrifice.ive bn doing it and God has bn blessin.so just try and you'l see dt its real

 i feel that people have the wrong reasons for tithing. People feel that in order for tithing to be effective, they want to be blessed financially. They feel that you will only be blessed financially if you tithe, but according to my knowledge tithing is not for that purpose. First of all, tithing is discipline. God commanded us to do this, and besides you will be blessed in other areas, not just a financial blessing.



Tithes is paid to God not man. Man is the receiver on the behalf of God so that we will have a place to worship

 i wont say its a sin .but i think d best thing 2 do is bringing it 2 church..u can pay ur tithe in church and as well help someone in need out there....u dnt nid 2 use ur tithe 4 dat
