news for negative reasons with armed men invading banks, churches and mosques. Gunmen shot and killed 16 persons who were having fellowship at a Deeper Life Church near the Federal College of Education in Okene.Just before that incident, some gunmen had abducted and killed a lecturer at the FCE.Now the latest news is that gunmen tried to invade a mosque and in the process, they shot and killed 2 soldiers on duty. Two other persons were also killed.

The governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada knew quite well that the level of insecurity in the state is overwhelming and embarrassing. While visiting some victims of the terrorist attack in his state, he wore a bullet proof vest. Yet, this is a governor who has security aides, both in uniform and plain clothes. So what security does the ordinary citizens have?Should people now wear bullet proof vests to churches and mosque?

The economic value of Nigeria is already declining due to these various attacks, especially in the northern part of the country.Companies are shuting down their operations gradually in those places.

MTN Nigeria just announced that it would be closing down Friendship centres located in Pleateau state for obvious reasons. Think of how many people that would lose their jobs.

Naijapals  gathered that Promasidor Nigeria producers of Loyal Milk,Cowbell Milk,Cowbell choco amongst other food and beverage products is not finding the Boko Haram issue funny too. The level of it supply and earnings from the northern parts of the country has reduced drastically  because of security issues. The issue is already causing problems in the manpower section of the company. This is the applies to many companies who can no more distribute well in the north.

Has anyone ever thought of the massive job cuts and other negative impacts that might hit Kogi state if security situation wont allow big corporations like Dangote Obajana cement plant to operate? The plant is regarded as the biggest of its kind in sub-saharan africa.

What happens to the good old Lokoja where people travelling from different parts of the country ‘must’ stop to enjoy themselves and later embarked on their journey? Will people be able to do that again with comfort?

Some people are of the opinion that if President Goodluck Jonathan’s government can not handle the violence, then the country should seek foreign military assistance and intelligence. What if the President does not want to wage full war against his people and instead engage in dialogue with those involved?

Questions  keep coming up from all direction. Hoping that at the end, Alhaji Sambo Dasuki the national security adviser and other military top shots would be able to find solution to the issue now before it degenerates to other parts of the country.
