Birth control pills for men?  Its a joke... it won't work.  Men don't like taking  pills, except Viagra or Cialis.  Men don't like going to the doctor until its too late....  the side effect of this pill is weight loss.  Now, that is something they should put in women's pill so they lose weight and stay trim.  This will make women jealous.  Some men might be scared of the side effect, thinking they may lose one of their balls.....  so I say, make women take the same pill too and make real Viagra easily accessible to men....No fake Viagra, made in China or Abakeleke....real one man.....

HIV/AIDS... Help is on the way
But don’t forget this post is about contraception. Some of us are concerned about HIV/AIDS I can honestly say the world of science is working hard the scientists are not redundant given the stories below.

The only person believed to have been cured of HIV infection through a bone marrow transplant says he feels wonderful and is launching a new foundation to boost research toward a cure.
Timothy Ray Brown, 47, an American from Seattle, Washington, rose to fame as the so-called "Berlin patient" after doctors tried a novel technique to use an HIV-resistant donor for a stem cell transplant to treat Brown's leukemia.
Since 2007, he has had two high-risk bone marrow transplants and continues to test negative for HIV, stunning researchers and offering new pathways for research into how gene therapy may lead to a more widely acceptable approach.
"I am living proof that there could be a cure for AIDS," Brown told AFP in an interview. "It's very wonderful, being cured of HIV."

A small group of patients with HIV in France have been able to stop taking Aids drugs without any resurgence of the virus in their bodies, giving scientists new hope that a "functional cure" for HIV may be possible.
The Visconti cohort, as the 14 French patients are being called, were all given antiretroviral drugs to control the virus soon after becoming infected with HIV, which is not very common. They remained on medication for at least three years, but then stopped.
