Its really sad that things like this is still happening in Nigeria, a country where some crazy individual just wakes up and thinks he knows something about town planning then calls for demolition of certain areas in the city without any preparations or planning, see video below:

This is so sad and wrong!!! Completely unacceptable!! No arrangements made on where to place these people...I don't really know what is going on in this Nigeria. The so called government will attempt to "fix" one problem while creating another one worse than the original. Amazing!

It's a big shame that the rich in Nigeria is getting richer while the poor is expected to die trying to feed his/her family.

I belive in innovation and modernization!.We Nigerians hv to sacrisfice in some certain limit just to bring our nation into modernity but it does not mean that a leader will ''neglet or abuse'' the common citizens of the state in the name of moderization or anything else!.There re needs to found a common ground for those people living in those demolishment affected areas so that they surfferes less than pulling them out empty handedly and left them in a state of tears and agonies!. It's undemocratic,it's absolutely inhuman!,it's arrogant for any govt, any leader demolishing houses, properties filled with people without adequate measure to shelter it's inhabitants!. I wonder when will our leader come to age and learn who to respect and treat every citizens of our nation as sons and daughters of a great and wealthy nation???.

I am so sorry for this woman and her children. It is barbaric not to issue or serve any notice to the appropriate party before someone is evicted. Where, why and when did this took place? This is lawless. Is there any source?

Much wealth in the country, but only in few hands, certainly a notice might have been served on this woman, but without alternative, how can she cope with two kids? No housing or social security for the poor, very pathetic.

We are very fast in condemning everything about Nigeria. This kind of issue is everywhere. Within the week CNN did a documentary showing that about 75,000 U.S. Veterans are living on the street and about 8000 in California alone. So leaders across the world are selfish and not only in Nigeria. I hope somebody will help the poor lady for the sake of her kids. It is obvious the Govt does not care so it is irrelevant calling them names on the internet. All we need to do is to be our brother’s keeper. The question now is HOW DO WE HELP THIS WOMAN AND HER KIDS???
