i just hope the senate is not just paying lip service but would rather match words with action when the time for confronting sanusi head on comes. The question is do we really need a new currency now? If sanusi is so interested in using the faces of the women to come up with a new currency denomination, what stops him from changing the faces of the men on the #50 note we don’t even know who they are and using those of the women there? He should be careful with this currency restructuring thing. i want to believe he was not blind when Ghana towed the same part and now they are back to square one. He should also be aware that most south american countries with the likes of peru and Argentina that followed the same part where never better off for it but rather reverted at the end. if he still does not have eyes that of Zimbabwe is a very good example, where the currency was so devalued that a 1million Zimbabwean currency and other higher denominations can only buy some few loaves of bread. this man should not cause problems by improvising the masses with policies that are not worth it. i have no doubt if the policy is implemented, so many things would go wrong in this country. I wonder if as a CBN governor he does not introduce a denomination of the naira something evil would happen. He has been ranting about cashless economy, so why introduce a new denomination? i am beginning to have this notion that Sanusi is a working tool in the hands of the world bank like Ngozi okonjo Iweala. Playing Nigeria into their hands by devaluing our currency. When he steps down as CBN governor, the next thing would be to collect world bank appointment.

Nothing too bad in the plan and not too good when considered Nigerians who are not too interesting in using coins; have been mature enough to known what is happening around me for the next 3 decades: Changing 20 Naira to 5 naira notes to coin will amounts to products (resellers) price infinite. So put the massing in mind in whatever seam good plan you may have.
At least we still got what should have buy for between 3 or 4 for the available 5 naira note, imagine if it no longer available. 5 naira wont product will be sold for 50.
 Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh?

It's now I know that we have a listening government.
Though I personally do not know the implication(s) of having or not having the #5,000 note in circulation, I really never liked it.
My thumb is up for the government's acknowledgement of the public's outcry against the note and it's resultant ban.
... wish public opinions should always be respected like this!

Always thinking of themselves without the masses. N100 valueless can u compare to N100 dollars..... BH man; even with N5,000 the currency is still valueless. Think of better things to contribute.
