2 if really it was industrialization that means there are large deposit of atoms of chemicals on that river and it was not be conducive for fishing because the fishes will be dead....
3 if that river supplies water to the rice field in china, i bet you there won't be rice production or harvest this year in china......

My Brother, I dey Jare , I am 100 percent sure that red color is not in any way threatening Chinese economy, I am very sure it must be some kind of pollution,maybe from a factory in Chongqing or even some Red chinese tea leaves but am still asking people for the cause but nothing tangible is said, I just came bank from the bank of the same river now to confirm the damages done but to my surprise there is nothing like that here cos it flows through my city, I think they are cleaning off the red color pollution now.
