Gay couple beats up woman for proposing to one of them

IMBIBERS at a youthful spot in the city centre got value for their lard earned cash as they were treated to a free spectacle when two self proclaimed 'gays' joined forces and beat up an alleged prostitute 'or proposing to one of them.

The two gays were only identified as Thabiso and Bongani .

The two's night out was disturbed by the woman who is understood to have proposed love to Bongani while his lover had gone to buy some drinks.

On his return Thabiso found his boyfriend talking to the woman and demanded answers. The boyfriend immediately went on the defensive and accused the woman of proposing him. He also told his lover that the alleged prostitute had asked himwhether he was interested in s*x.

On hearing the disheartening news, Thabiso slapped the woman. He was joined in the assault by his lover who delivered his own slows.

As a way of seeking recourse the woman insulted the two and was quoted as saying: " Lina zitabane liyizinja lingabantu abanjani elingafuni abafazi (You gays, you are dogs what kind of people are you who are not attracted to women.)"

The insults enraged the two who continued the assault. They were however, restrained by the spot's security details. One of the men openly declared to B-Metro that he was gay and proud ofit.

"I hate people who offend us by saying all these funny things, ngiyisitabane sc what, I am proud of it. One thing for sure we will beat up anyone who tries to mess around with us," said Thabiso .
Asked on why he was not chucked out of the spot as is the norm with people who cause chaos,

Thabiso said it was because gays had money.
" Siyabusa lapha sidla imali yethu so akulalutho abangalwenza Instead singaxotshisa wena (We rule because we have money there is nothing they could do. Instead they will throw you out)."
