Two years after he left office amidst allegations of non-performance, former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo said in Dutse, Jigawa State yesterday that he came on board as Nigeria’s President in 1999 in order to salvage the country from a deep socio-political crises and not to provide any infrastructure.
