THE UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENT IS NOT A TRADING PLACE, IT IS NOT WHERE YOU BUY AND SELL. IT'S AN INSTITUTION OF LEARNING TO ACQUIRE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS WHICH YOU DON'T BUY WITH MONEY, BUT SIT DOWN AND STUDY IN ORDER TO FACE THE FUTURE OF WORK LIFE AND BE COMPETENT. THIS IS WHY NIGERIAN EDUCATION STANDARD IS LOW. THESE SO CALLED RICH PEOPLE IN THE UNIVERSITY SIMPLY BUY THEIR DEGREES AFTER SPENDING FOUR/FIVE YEARS. OTHER PEOPLE EVEN WRITE THEIR EXAMS AND THESIS FOR THEM AND LECTURERS ARE EVEN INVOLVED IN IT. IT'S A SHAME.
