Four of their accomplices were arrested by security operatives and they confessed to have been masterminds of the aborted attack, said Kano state Commissioner of Police, Musa Daura.
Daura told P.M.NEWS that the four suspects were citizens of Niger Republic.

Daura said the two terrorists who died in the attack disguised as a water vendor and a motorcyclist.
“At about 7:30 this morning (Saturday), a terrorist disguised like a water vendor concealed explosives inside a truck
with empty jerry cans. The explosive harmed and killed them when his accomplice who disguised as a motorcyclist tried to detonate the bomb, targeting a JTF checkpoint,” Daura said.
The police boss told P.M.News that the terrorists suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect targeted a millitary checkpoint, “but they did not succeed.”
