Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finally began to search for a competent Nigerian tactician to fill the vacant position of the National Technical Director (NTD) with the drilling of three candidates in an interview conducted by the NFF's Technical Committee at the Glass House yesterday.

Daily Sunsports investigation can reveal that the trio of former Super Eagles' handlers, James Peters, Shuaibu Amodu and Kashimawo Laloko, who stormed the headquarters of the Nigerian football governing body, finally faced the technical sub-committee inside the boardroom of the Glass House around 2.00pm.

Responding to a question from the media on whether he would accept the job, Amodu argued that it would amount to jumping the gun if he answers yes or no when he has not met with the panel. His words: "Answering the question is like putting the cart before the horse.

The question will be difficult to react to and I would suggest you wait until I get the job before you put your question to me." Meanwhile, it was a hectic day for the members of the technical committee, as they also drilled the duo of Fatai Amao and David Ngodigha for the vacant position in the technical crew of the Under-23 Eagles.

Although former Super and Flying Eagles' chief coach, Samson Siasia, was touted as the possible candidate for the job, investigations revealed that the federation might have settled for Amao and the former Nigerian goalkeeper, Ngodiga, as two of them attended the interview yesterday.http://odili.net/news/source/2013/apr/10/sun/images/Amodu-Shuaibu-612x300[1].jpg
