The House of Representatives has ordered the police IG, Mohammed Abubakar, to begin prompt investigations of the two allies of President Goodluck Jonathan, who have threatened resumption of violence in the Niger Delta if the president is refused a second term.

The lawmakers said Tuesday the comments were utterly condemnable, and directed the police to investigate Kingsley Kuku, a presidential aide on Niger Delta, and Asari Dokubo, ex-militant leader. http://bit.ly/1095JnJ
