Good,
Nollywood movies have little or no educative content.
I don't watch it at all.

YOU ARE STILL VERY FAR FROM THE TRUTH.

Nollywood filmmakers will continue to produce movies with no substantial and cultural values if nobody speaks up. Many film-makers are now on Twitter, reach out to them and confront them on the type of movies they ought to be making. The scripts these days are just terrible. Unprofessional film-makers produce unprofessional contents. We have to give it up for film-makers like Kunle Afolayan, Desmond Elliot, Moses Inwang, etc., they are changing the game in Nollywood. Time will tell sha.

I for one do not watch Nigeria films (sorry, I don't  use the American word "movies").  I find the acting at most times laughable and the poor audio output grates on the ear.  In saving money a film that can last for 3 hours can only boast of 10 characters throughout the it's duration.

The story lines are childish and the acting  - now I understand why Chimanda Ngozi Adichie (a novelist) could not pick any Nigerian actor or actress to play a part in her upcoming film version of one of her books!   I understand that Genevieve Nnaji was selected to star in the production but was later dropped from the finished film  - leaving her to appear in just a very small complementary part!  Very upsetting especially when we realise she is a top actress in Nigeria!

Luckily Chiwetelu Ejiofor and Sophie Okonedo both seasoned actors outside Nigeria were on hand to fill the gap.
