Newly
appointed
Technical
Director of
Nigerian
football, Shuaibu Amodu and his
two assistants
Kashimawo Laloko and James
Peters, would earn a combined
monthly salary of N1.7 million,
Complete Sports has scooped.
According to NFF sources, the
delay in the resumption date of
the new officials was as a result of
some administrative matters
which has to do with how to
convince the Edo State
government, the current
employers of Amodu Shuaibu, to
release him on secondment for a
period of two years.
Our source further revealed that
agreement has finally been
reached and the former Super
Eagles coach is expected to
resume next week.
Amodu is expected to earn a sum
of N700,000 every month, while
his two assistants would be paid
N500,000 each.
This is contrary to earlier reports
that Amodu had rejected what
the NFF offered him and that he
was asking to be paid the same
salary as Super Eagles head coach
Steve Keshi.
