Millitary came in to savage  the situation before it degenerates, they gave him 48 hours to make ammendment, but he called them bluff,, the 51% vote he got, wasnt only from the muslims, and the 14 people on the streets are not as well all christians, so we can actuallly say the country is divided, right from the outset, morsy himself was walking towards the path of dictatorship,,changing constitution to suit him, and implementing measures that would not only frustrate the christians but also the moderate muslims,, this is nothing at all about religion, but its all about the unity and the fair treatment to all citizens, there  might be backlash as a result of this, but the millitary stated categorically, that they are  not interested in the government,,, waiting for the next term to vote him out, while this turmoil last can also lead to blood shedding,, in the african context, where a political officeholder would never resign, irrespective of how many lives are lost,, i think the eyptian millitary took the right decision,, as regard the morsy camp and followers, they still remain alive and can always make their voices once again to be  heard,,,

This is the point I am making. I hope you’ll understand me.
The army is telling 51% eligible voters (13 million Egyptians) their votes do not count anymore.
That’s troubling….. The army should have worked things out with the parties concerned.
This is the same army of Hosni Mubarak the former president.

one thing we must acknowledge is that African democracy can never be the same as western democracy.
the army's involvement in Egypt was necessary to avoid further breakdown of law and order  and the continued
intransigence of Morsi did not help matters at all.
Morsi was behaving more like an autocrat and religious leader than a democrat. Egypt's problems was more than
making Egyptians better Moslems that he was solely focused on.
Religion should be at the back burner and not on the fore-front in any state governance except the Vatican

YES but they must start somewhere, if it's democracy they want they must listen to the 14 millions in the streets, how many participated in the Presidential election...25 millions...Morsi won with 51% about 13 millions votes.....

true,.... but with that high turn-out of protesters on the streets, there would have been no other sensible way out
 except bloodshed
the lesson here is...when you are vote in by a democracy,...rule as a democrat

Huummmm……..I don’t think they are as united given the reported news.
I just hope this action by the army will not result into a civil war whereby innocents will suffer and die for nothing.
Supporters of the deposed president will or may not just keep quiet.

Unity........ that’s what we need in Nigeria and not the army….
It has not been a good experience as far as the army is concerned in my own opinion
.

Majority of the Egyptians were against his leadership , Morsi never rose above the desires and broad grievances of the Islamist movement that he belonged to , duly elected or not he refused to set up a national reconcilation government, Egypt was heading to a chaotic abyss , if the Egyptian military had not intervened things would have spiraled out of control !!!

For most people political legitimacy is more complicated than just winning an election ,
Morsi has been a divisive, polarizing and incompetent figure resorting to increasingly authoritarian tactics , stifling speeches and criticism, ignoring hate crimes committed by Muslim extremists etc, rather than focus on improving the lives of Egyptians , everything he did seemed focused to consolidating the hold on power of his Muslim brotherhood movement .!!!

Nigerians have a real problem in their head,,,, in fact they have many problems for their head,,,people say it's not only Christians, moderate muslims marched too....therefore it's not a religion issue.....here's my question: how does it benefit muslims to depose a muslim President and remove the muslim party (muslim brotherhood) from power..........At the end of the day Christians should rejoice because the sharia law Morsi vowed to put in place and his tailored constitution are in the river Nile right now...
