South Africa’s powerful “traditional” doctors said whoever turns off the switch will never come to terms with the decision.

By Andy Lines in Soweto, South Africa
South Africa’s powerful “traditional” doctors have issued a chilling warning NOT to switch off Nelson Mandela’s life support machine. They said whoever turns off the switch will never come to terms with the decision.

Gogo Philasande Yoko, 58, chairwoman of the National Traditional Healers Organization said Mandela must live for as long as he can.

She said: “Whoever switches off that machine will have a guilty conscience until he dies. The nation will be overwhelmed by bad luck.  Continue Reading....

“Don’t switch off the machines - only the ancestors can release Madiba.”The doctors - called sangomas - met at a prayer session for Mandela.Yoko, 58, said: “We beg our ancestors not to take Madiba from us now. "Without him, there is no hope that our country will be what he wants it to be. “Madiba is our living ancestor.

"When there is violence in our communities we call his name and remind people about what he wants this country to be.

“We ask our ancestors to give him more years to live. He is the only true leader that people can listen to.
“He is taking long to die because he is communicating with his ancestors.

“He is giving them a report about the state of the nation. At the same time he is blessing the nation.
“Madiba will die after he has finished giving his report to his ancestors and political ancestors.”

Sangoma Nomacebo Njozela-Tshangela, 51, added: “No one has a right to release him. It’s against our culture.

"The ancestors will release him when the time is right.”.....

IT'S BEST THIS MAN LEAVES THE WORLD ON HIS OWN INSTEAD OF SOMEONE OR A GROUP OF PEOPLE ASSISTING HIM BY SWITCHING OFF HIS LIFE SUPPORT. LET HIM SLEEP PEACEFULLY IN ACCORDANCE TO NATURE'S CALLING OF HIS OWN AND WILL.
