Dwayne Jones was relentlessly teased in high school for being effeminate until he dropped out. His father not only kicked him out of the house at the age of 14 but also helped jeering neighbours push the youngster from the rough Jamaican slum where he grew up. His mistake: confiding to a friend that he was attending a "straight" party as a girl for the first time in his life. "When I saw Dwayne's body, I started shaking and crying," said Khloe, one of three transgender friends who shared a derelict house with the teenager in the hills above the north coast city of Montego Bay. Like many transgender and gay people in Jamaica, Khloe wouldn't give a full name out of fear. "It was horrible. It was so, so painful to see him like that." International advocacy groups often portray this Caribbean island as the most hostile country in the Western Hemisphere for gay and transgender people. After two prominent gay rights activists were murdered, a researcher with the U.S based Human Rights Watch in 2006 called the environment in Jamaica for such groups "the worst any of us has ever seen". Local activists have since disputed that label, but still say homophobia is pervasive. i find murder disgusting weather he is straight or gay ,still doesn't give you the right to kill.God never said you should kill sinners,he never gave you that permission.

Murder is murder. Murdered by his family, friends and by all those who stood by and did nothing.
I hope his father recognises the fact that by throwing his son to the wolves he has failed the test given to him by God. The father should be there to protect his son but he'd rather have the neighbours 'love.' I am sure these neighbours are having a good laugh at the father and the rest of his family behind their backs.
May the young teen rest in peace. At least he is now in a place where there is no discrimination based on - colour,creed, religion or segxwality!
God loves all his creation - whatever 'churches' teach to the contrary!

Regardless of the fact that I don't support murder or the taking of human life. Gays, Lesbians, LGBT, transgender, should be given a third chance in this life. Once the person has been cautioned yet he or she indulges in this homosegxwal, lesbian activities, life should be snuffled out of the person or better still put in a jail until the person's senses starts working properly. Homosegxwal, Lesbianism is one of the latest DEMONIC packages by US, Britain & their to turn the wrath of God on mankind. My prayer to God is to enable pple know that all these are d handiwork of the devil & been propagated by these countries.
