Actor, Samuel L. Jackson Offers University Scholarship to Kenyan Students

Movie producer and Hollywood star, Samuel. L. Jackson has promised to offer educational scholarship worth over Ksh 5million to two participants at the on-going Zuku Basketball University League (ZUBL) 2013 season.

In addition, Zuku headed by Bary Rathbone has offered Ksh 3 million to cater for the university education of an additional two students making a total of KSh 8 million and four scholarships up for grabs.

ZUBL which started June and will end in October brings 39 universities together from across the region.

In the tournament the national champion will walk away with Ksh 150,000 while the first and second runners up will walk away with 75,000 and 45,000 respectively.
