EVEN IF THE WHITE MAN CALLS ME A MONKEY BUT ALWAYS TREAT ME LIKE HUMAN... THE QUESTION IS HOW DO THE NIGERIA GOVERNMENT TREAT ME?
(1) THE POLICE
(2)THE BASIC AMENITIES ( no light, no water, no road)
(3)A barrel of crude oil sales for 113$ and Nigeria is producing 2.5million($ 282500000 per day this the money Nigeria get everyday) barrels per day it means Nigeria gets 16$trillion a year...... And they let the children suffer pain and hunger.. and they tell me Nigeria has no money ARE THEY CALLING MONKEY OR FOOLISH MONEY?

Nigeria "The Giant of Africa" has nothing to show for it why because we feel we know it all. Our foreign Embassies are nothing to write home about. In some countries getting a new passport is like Hell one spends nothing less than a thousand euros and when one finally gets it, it is full of errors and you have to wait for a longtime, if you are lucky it may take up to six months. Some of the staffs are even worst than the motor park boys. We should learn from our host countries where passports are issued under 24 hours.

Embarrassed

You sound very upset. And u have every reason to be. I had just wanted to ask if u were issued a receipt?

Dealing with embassys is not an easy thing. Ii think you should write an official letter of complainf outliningyour grievances over the money not refunded.  I know its a long process to write and submit but if Nigerians can get into the culture  of following up on poor service - the better for us. People in the embassys know we are not one for chasing up on things and so they deliver shoddy service.

What mskes me laugh is the 'comment/complaint box' they didplsy in Nigeria embassies - i wonder how many letters have successfully been dealt with.
Guess what hhappen when u are dealing with a professional criminal those punks didn't give me any receipt i was giving only bank account number and was ask to go to the bank and pay the money phyuk them

Well some people say we chose our country of origin before we are born. If that is true - i will make a better choice next time - may be next time i will consider The Gambia!

POWERSHOW by Fela Anikulapo-Kuti... go listen!!  sums it all up. A total immoral disgrace but hey, what does one expect from a bunch of cavemen trying to act otherwise?! The story of a failed nation!!

Every one in authority does what ever he/she likes and no one question's them. What a country we have.
What a government... An embassy that is suppose to protect her people, now treating them like slaves.
The truth is that nothing is moving in that country anymore. the county is sinking, while the leaders are there,
deceiving their people with big meaningless grammars; And the people are there praising them and admiring flashy cars.
The only solution to this problem is REVOLUTION.
If we do not do it on our own, then nature will do it for us.
Whether we like it or not, it must happen someday.

Na today!
I applied for 4 passports for my family in Winnipeg in 2009 April. I received 3 after about 10 months. Up till now, one is yet to be issued. Infact, I considered myself fortunate to have received 3 out of 4 I we applied for.
