The group said in a statement signed by its Coordinator, Ebelo Goodluck, on Wednesday that members of the faction had constituted themselves into ‘public nuisance’ even though there were meaningful avenues for them to dialogue with Mr. Jonathan and the leadership of the ruling party to resolve the raging crisis.
“The activities of the members of the so called New PDP are gradually taking more irritating turns by the day,” the group said.
“The obvious disdain this handful of disgruntled members of the party has continued to show for dialogue has left no one in doubt that they have no respect for constituted authority both individually and as a group including for the office of Mr. President.”
“It doesn’t sit well with decorum that a group of politicians would rather elect to make public nuisance of themselves when avenues of meaningful dialogue are available for them in the party and with the president.”
