Yesterday (23rd September) President Goodluck Jonathan visited the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) where he was bestowed the honour of ringing the closing bell.



The President is currently in New York to participate in the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly which is today.



Joining President Jonathan to ring the closing bell were Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (Minister of Finance), Dr. Olusegun Mimiko (Governor of Ondo State), Diezani Allison-Madueke (Minister of Petroleum) Femi Otedola (CEO Forte Oil) Oscar Onyema (CEO, Nigerian Stock Exchange) & Aruma Oteh (DG, Securities and Exchange Commission).
