FCT Minister Senator Bala Mohamed, Senator Ita Enang and the founder of the foundation for the elderly and the poor Hajia Habiba Abubakar where honoured by National Waves news paper and magazine, for distinguishing themselves in their various fields.

Habiba Abubakar,a billionaire got the gold honour award  for best NGO 2013 for her contributions to the elderly, the poor and struggling families. 



Habiba Abubakar is passionate about helping the less privileged and she does so all by herself without begging for funds from anyone.

*Hajia Habiba who recently birthed Actor Chidi Mokeme's lovechild,a boy gave him up to be brought up by her sister who lives in the diaspora so that she can concentrate on her charity work.
