There is no enough details for some of us to determine if the man is guilty or not. However, a 17 years old girl taking a taxi with no money leave so many questions unanswered.
1) was it a consensual sex?
2) did the girl exchange a ride home with sex?
3) even if it was a consensual sex why did the old man sleep with a girl that young?
4) did the man admit to the offense?
5) did he take advantage of a young innocent girl because she was alone with him?
By the way, my sincere sympathy to the young innocent victim.
