97-year-old Edna has shocked many as she turned into Instagram’s newest fitness star, giving some stiff competition after videos of her doing squats, push-ups and weight repetitions were uploaded on the social media site.

Edna on Instagram, says her secret to staying healthy is working out and also advises others to ‘never let yourself get weak.

Edna can be seen in photos doing different workouts with her yoga and fitness instructor Mackey who has been helping her upload workout videos on Instagram and also Caitlin Turner – a yoga star.

It takes a lot of courage to be like Edna, so we will give her a thumbs-up for her relentlessness.

Lucky lady.

She most probably has her home government helping to pay her rent, given her a travel pass to travel free on any transport and ENJOYING free gym access. Lucky lady!

If we had such government assistance why should our elderly folk not be dancing and living to a good OLD AGE!
