Am not against it! Prostitution is a trade engaged in by choice! Some are in d game not 4 d money but 4 d satisfaction they get! Why infringe on their right? Why disturb them, even if its nt legalized, does it stop it frm being practised? Abeg there other problems awaiting our tackling jooor!

ego better for you, your point is clear and direct. if sex workers should be legalised then armed robbery too should be legalised cause they all have same reason for indulging!
bros arm robber na different thing...abeg nor compare am to ashawo....if dem say make we vote between the two na ashawo me go vote for ..even though I'm against the practice. ...ashawo like most pple comment doesn't hurt no body but for arm rubber its a no no...ghos ones killed and take away pple goods..and I'm not in support of it.........

prostitition should be legalized ,controlled and regulated..this is how its done in more than 70 countries around the world..control it by issueing licenses for tax purposes and regulate it by routine medical check to curtail any type of stds..Alternatives source of income like job training should be provided if anyone chooses to leave this degrading job..its a victimless crime so some people comparing it to arm robberry is ridiculous..most people are not force to become prostitute or partronise  them..its clearly an individual choice..let face it,its the world oldest profession its not going away..i think the prostitution in nigeria has helped reduce crime in nigeria .with the level of poverty in naija, just imagine if girls could not prostitute themselves..they would have been like a 70 percent increase in robbery ..you might be standing on the street and a very good looking woman will pull out a gun and try to rob you ...

For me, legalising prostitution does not necessarily encourage it. But sure enough enough, 1) It will protects both sellers and buyers. 2) It reduces nuisance to nonbuyers because, at least, the sellers will not have to stay in dirty corners just to hide from the law. 3) It can generate revenue and income. 4) We can at last look at prostitutes with some degree of dignity. 5) Never forget, the prostitutes are there because people are patronising them. 6) At least, the government will then be able to control their activities.

For me I'm against it because there are so many jobs out there a woman can do than sex worker..not having money is not an excuse for going into prostitution.... that the self worth of that woman is being reduce...what side are u on..plz there shiuld be no fighting here.....this is to educate ourselves
Weather you are a man or woman. There are no jobs in Nigeria. Relatively,  we have one of the highest unemployment rate in the world so to say there are so many jobs for women to do is not even real.  Ain't no jobs. Daddy ain't got no job, Mama ain't got no job so the babies are out selling.  Some say money is the root of all evil, but I say . Lack of money is the root of all evil.

Its nice to legalize it. And pls have it in mind dat legalizing it does not neccesarily mean that u're encouraging it but giving protection to those involved in it. Come to think of it,this is a trade dat no one can ever eradicate so why not legalize it.

I am totally against it being legalized. Was it not the other day some people were agreeing, with a post someone made on here about one if the female delegates at the recent Nigerian Confab saying that women are the cause of corruption in Nigeria (which I vehemently disagree with, very stupid talk)? Well, prostitution would give another backing for the world to blame women for the problems of the world. Women have a role to play in society and selling their bodies is not something that will bring about any good in an already doomed world. We are living in a time where women are trying to bring themselves up to a certain level of respect in society where everyone will recognize their importance so prostitution will not help this cause. It won't encourage women to aim higher because degrading things like selling their bodies will only depreciate them. So a big NO to that legalizing prostitution of a thing. I'm even surprised a fellow woman would agree to that.
some do it for free, weda its legal or not.its still d same
