This picture was posted on facebook which prompted a huge backlash and has now sparked a police investigation.
A friend of Andre, Je’Vanna Cobbins has tried to come to his defense saying Andre was just playing around,’ and would never do anything to harm anyone.’
She said: [He was] being playful with his child. People play with their child differently.
A police spokesman .at the Chicago Police Department who said they were tipped off to the photo have confirmed it’s being looked into.
While Andre has since taken the photo off Facebook, the image has spread on the internet with angry users targeting his page.
One commenter called Curry a nasty child abuser’.
