A man married his dead girlfriend after she was killed in a car crash just days before the wedding was scheduled to take place.

This tragic love story occurred in Thailand.

Chadil Deffy, 28, decided to go ahead with the wedding that he and his girlfriend had planned.

29-year-old Sarinya Kamsook eagerly counted the days to the moment when she will finally say “I do.” However, several days before the wedding, Kamsook was involved in a car crash, leaving her severely injured. She still could have been saved with medical treatment, but doctors made ​​her wait for 6 hours due to an overcrowded intensive care unit.

After six hours, Kamsook died of her injuries.

Kamsook and Deffy had been together for 10 years. They had postponed
the wedding several times because Deffy wanted to complete his education before getting married.

In a Buddhist ceremony, Deffy married the corpse of his girlfriend. The event took place in Surin, a city in northern Thailand.

During the ceremony, he expressed his devotion and deep love for Kamsook. Several friends and relatives attended the wedding.

The video of the wedding showed how Deffy kissed the forehead of his girlfriend and placed a wedding ring on her finger.
