Make no mistake, the 2015 general elections is gaining momentum, and the massive influx of Nigerian entertainers is billed to surely make it a very interesting scenario as things unfold. When 9ice made his intention to contest in the elections known sometime ago, we all thought it was one of those publicity stunts to drive traffic towards the release of his new album. However, 9ice, who has not for once wavered in his resolve to become a honourable member come 2015, has just unveiled the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the political party he is pitching his tent with.
Thus, the Oyo State-born music star, born Abolore Adigun, would be seeking an elective post as a house of representative member aiming to represent Ogbomoso North/South/Orire Constituency next year. Having thrown his hat into the ring as such, it remains to be seen how 9ice’s involvement will add to the 2015 elections.
