First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan Resigns As Perm Secretary In Bayelsa State

Nigeria's First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has resigned her appointment as a Permanent Secretary in the Bayelsa State Civil Service. The first lady, was one of the appointed 17 permanent secretaries in the state civil service in July 2012.

Though sources said Patience resigned voluntarily, there are speculations that she resigned because of her unwillingness to support Gov. dickson’s second term bid because she has her own candidate.
