This is the pure truth but you need an open mind to accept it. Contrary to what the bible says that a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh, the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye condemned marriage in his new book titled “Journey to Marriage”.
Prior to the new book, Pastor Adeboye have joined several pastors in Nigeria who have been making explosive statement both on the social media and in the Christendom. Journey to Marriage is said to be a book with all humility which tells you all you need to know on whether to get married or not and also serve as a spiritual guidance and preparations for your wedding.
In the book, the man of God started by saying that not everybody will marry.
“Please let this point be clear from the beginning. Marriage is a very beautiful thing, but when you think seriously about the matter the one who does not marry is better than the one who does. Almost all the mighty men tremendously used by God never married.
Such people include Elijah, Elisha, Paul, Jesus, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Stephen. Somehow, they ‘did not get into the “trouble” I am happy being married, like somebody said, like trailer it drags you.”
“The bible says clearly that those who are not married mind only the things of God, while those who are married mind the things of their husbands and their wives”
“I have a rough idea that when we get to heaven those who are not married will score higher marks than those of us who are married.” So your first step to marriage therefore should be to ask God if he wants you to marry or not according to the man of God.
“If the answer is negative then pray to God to let you settle down and begin your work for him. You could argue that it is God who says we should increase and multiply.
Yes but do all those who marry get children? Man of God concluded.

pastor adobayo is a pastor that i respect much,becouse of his truthfulness,,just look at the way he spoke the word of GOD without minding what anybody may think or say,,if it is some other pastors, even if they know this truth they will never say it for pride,,,becouse they will be thinking that it will be a way of praising some other men of GOD who did not marry,if you are not satisfied with this teaching of the pastor just read this chapters and verses,,,1 correntians 7,7-8 ,,,, 1 correntians 7,32-34,,,,mattew 19, 12

Poster, my first advice is that u should be very careful when u are sending any article, especially concerning any man of God. I will also ask u to read d book again, get an understanding to it very well then come back to make another post, because Pst Adeboye will not write a book and say it is worthy not be married. Bone head Poster.

did he says anything unbiblical here?why all the insults on his personality?please,read ur bible an d find out this is exactly what apostle paul preaches.You can chose to be single so you can mind more on Gods work or marry to avoid lust n burning with uncontrollable desires....and that is exactly what the pastor is saying....read,read n stop cussing him out.

Pastor Adeboye disappointed his followers.....1 Corin 7:12 To the rest i say(i,not the LORD) if any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him he must not divorce his wife"...Regarding Paul Command here for Marriage... Pastor Adeboye got it all rough...There are so many mis-interpretations from this so-call-- Richly polished Pastors who allowed Homosegxwality to exist in their Churches..like the CATHOLICS Priest who Homonised young children all in the name of not MARRIED to be like Paul..No wonder they call themselves POPO PAUL POPO FRANCISES POPO JOHN PAUL.. Hell is awaiting them all.
