Seven months after they were affected in the bomb explosions, which took place in the nation’s capital territory and other nearby towns, victims of these bomb attacks, yesterday, November 03 2014, protested against being neglected by the Federal Government.

The victims, who converged on the Millennium Park Fountain, venue of the #BringBackourGirlsdemonstrations, also claimed that they were abandoned in several hospitals, and
left to pay the bills that had accumulated during the course of their treatments.

In a swift reaction, Secretary, Health and Human Services Secretariat of the FCT Abuja, Dr. Ademola Onakomaiya, said: “There is a mix up here. What they are asking for is not healthcare, but empowerment because if we had not treated them, they will not be able to come here.”
