Meabwhile, Cosby suffered yet another consequence of his alleged rape scandal last week when his alma mater, The University of Massachusetts Amherst, severed its ties with him. According to the Boston Globe, after earning master’s and doctorate degrees from the institution, the comedian was elected as an honorary co-chairman of the school’s fundraising campaign. But last week, the school’s spokesman announced that the post was no longer filled by Cosby due to the rape allegations.
