Nigeria: Female Corps Member Commits Suicide Over Marriage

A female National Youth Corps (NYSC) member serving in Ekiti State, yesterday allegedly hung herself in Lagos over alleged refusal of her parents to approve her marriage proposal to a Muslim heartthrob.

The deceased simply identified as Angela was said to have died inside the room of her heart-throb, when the later travelled out of Lagos to his home town in Auchi, Edo State last weekend.
