Robbery Suspects on parade
According to the Guardian, the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO),Ahmed Mohammed, made this statement while disclosing the arrest of at least 15 suspected armed robbers in the state.

The Police Spokesman disclosed that the arrests followed a tip-off on the hide-out of the hoodlums along Oboburu Road in Akabuka of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Council of the state.
According to him, the arrested suspects include, Oliver Odum, Gift Odika, Collins Georgewill, John Daniel, Uchechukwu Dimkpa, Emmanuel Solomon, Ogechi Okorobia and Obi Eze Okwu.
Others are Vincent Odum, Odinaka Amaechi Ogbugo, Chisa Peter, Emenike Ayodele, John James,Vincent Ikeguru and Atumatu Isaac.

“Items recovered from them include 79 cartridges, four objects suspected to be explosives, two cutlasses, one military camouflage trouser, a walkie-talkie radio set and assorted charms. Other items recovered are seven fire-arms made up of three pump action, one English-made double barrel, one locally-made pistol double barrel and two dane-guns.’’
THE Rivers State Police Command have been on high alert due to cult related activities that have plagued the state in recent times.
