A 28-year-old woman has died after several rounds of sex with a male companion in a hotel at Spintex road in Accra.
The husband of the woman revealed she was a month pregnant.
The deceased, who had two children and had travelled from Oda to visit her sister during the Christmas holidays, reportedly died after sex with her lover at a hotel on the Spintex road in Accra.
The unfortunate incident occurred on Friday, January 9, 2015.
According to reports, the distraught husband is yet to come to terms with his wife’s death.
He wondered why a married woman could have segxwal relationship with a man she barely knew.
Adom News’ Kofi Assan, who broke the news, said the Sakumono police have arrested Salifu, the lover.
Upon interrogation, he revealed that the deceased had complained of a headache, so he bought some paracetamol for her to take before the segxwal bout.
Salifu said after the first round of sex, she decided to go and shower, but when he realized she was not coming out, “I went to check on her only to find her unconscious, rushed her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead”.
Kofi Assan said Salifu denied any wrongdoing and continuously proclaimed his innocence.
The Sakumono police are waiting for the autopsy report from the Police Hospital to commence investigations into the death.
Salifu will be processed for court after investigations are concluded.
