A Lagos based man of God, Pastor Chris Onyekachi-Madu, is pleading with an Igando Customary court in the state to grant him a divorce from his wife of 18-years, Augusta, due to her flirtatious lifestyle which made her pregnant for an 'Okada' (commercial motorcycle) rider, an action which has brought shame and ordure to him, his ministry and his family.
The 45-year-old pastor says the love he had for his wife evaporated when she invited the 'Okada' man to sleep with her in their matrimonial home and when she got pregnant, packed into the man's house, abandoning her duties as a wife and mother.
Narrating his ordeal in the hands of his wife and mother of his 2 children, Madu, a pastor at Victory in Christ Gospel Ministry, Egbeda, Lagos, told the court how his 18 years marriage collapsed due to his wife's incessant adulterous acts.
He said anytime he confronted his wife on her attitude, she would fight him and to spite him the more, she started bringing strange men into their home, and that was when the crisis in his home escalated.
Pastor Madu lamented:
"They come to my house at about 11pm. There was a day I had to interrogate a man that she brought home. She introduced him to me as her pastor."
On the motorcycle rider that finally got his wife pregnant, Pastor Madu said that she initially introduced him as someone that would be taking their children to and from school but to his surprise, after taking his children to school in the morning and bringing them back, the 'Okada man' would then take his wife away even in his presence, adding that this happened on three consecutive occasions, after which she slept over the fourth time.
