where is this animalistic behavour coming from, if there is loop hole in NYSC i think it should be looked into and remedy and not scrap from the country as a matter of fact other country are emulating the scheme. am really looking 4ward to coming back to nigeria after my school here to serve

hi,
thi kind of issues should be reserved 4 those who ve served and are working dy can explain perfectly.
Reading thru pples contribution abt death and safety, the cold hands of death culd ve meet those corpers anywere, and misfortune meets people any were and anytime, so its not cos it happened coincidentally during d service year. Besides its the only proof of true gradants of niga uni's,.
life on its own is not a smooth  play ground and so the happenings during service year is normal.
I want my kids to go thru it, aas it is useful and should be continued, even if they need ex-corps 2 contribute.

People should go for professional courses to broaden their specialities. How many countries abroad recognise it, just like toilet paper, please advise them to scrap it.

Reasons behind the Service Corps are PROFOUND.I would say KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE.On the other hand,safety can never be OVER-RATED so to ensure true INTEGRATION SECURITY should be ASSURED.Till then,Northern Posting should be suspended since those areas tend to be the BASE OF AGGRAVATION.

NYSC let it continue bcos it gives graduates the  opportunity they need to explore and see naija the way it really is. though some ill fates are encountered by some, life is all about risk, even in the state where u reside u can die so y all this talk about death. the aim of NYSC is being acheived though slowly but its still being acheived. some of the tragedies r caused by the corps espcially down here in the north the ladies behave like untrained gals and harlots, so y wont they be killed?
