The people of Osun State are presently marching round the state asking the House of Assembly to begin impeachment procedure against the governor over impeachable offences. Abeg this one no be joke ooo. A lot of human rights organisations and civil society groups are against the Governor.Pro and anti-Aregbesola protests rocked the streets of Osogbo , the Osun state capital this morning. Groups loyal to Governor Rauf Aregbesola and those from the opposition in the state chanted songs for and against the policies of the state government, particularly on the late payment of workers’ salaries.
Policemen were quickly drafted to the troubled Olaiya junction area of the town while another detachment went to Igbonna area of the State capital to ensure peace.

Even states with lesser government revenue allocation like Ebonyi pay their workers.

But Aregbesola is owing workers for upto 6-7 months. That's a real shame and there is no excuse for that

I wonder how this Aregbesola sleeps at night,you feed your wife and children,you pay yourself your own salary as a governor,but you deny hundreds of thousands their own salary for 7 months,how do you sleep at night??
