According to Sahara Reporters, armed robbers snatched Mohammed Babangida‘s wife Rahma‘s 2015 Mercedes Benz S550 on Saturday morning in Kaduna town. However, three of the four culprits have now been arrested.
The vehicle, which is black, was reportedly stolen in the Ungwan Rimi area of the town. It is said to have been snatched at gunpoint, and the robbers obtained an unspecified amount of money and other valuables from Rahma. Also, they reportedly stole one of her security escort’s rifle.
Three of the four suspects were caught in Katsina State.
According to the report, the robbers were tracked via Rahma’s cellphone, which she had left in the car during the operation. The suspects were reportedly trying to head out of Nigeria through Dusten Ma in Katsina State when they were caught.
