Yes it is true these people are still living in the past and not yet civilized. But lets say the fact, the so-called "Abobaku" knew about all the protocols related to the post/title of "Abobaku" but he refused to leave the post when Oni of Ife was alive. He was enjoying, dinning, eating nice meals with the king but now it's time to die, the coward took to his heels. He should have left the post when he was aware that being an "Abobaku" require you to die along with the king. Anyway it is time for Yoruba tradition to wake up and stop this nonsense. But I will be honest, the "Abobaku" is a fraud and a thief and he should have absconded long time ago because he knew one day the king will die.
