Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Enugu Rangers was shot by gunment on Monday, August 10 in the Asata area of Enugu. Charles Offordile was shot while preparing to travel to Abuja for Wednesday's Federation Cup quarterfinal game against El-Kanemi. According to club officials, the gunmen were likely to be cultists, who have been wrecking havoc in the area. “We were all preparing to travel to Abuja for our Federation Cup game when we heard he has been shot by gunmen," Rangers’ media officer, Foster Chime, said. "But we thank God, he is in a stable condition and he will be discharged soon. The management of the club has paid him a visit and he is fine."

It's fraternity war between the Black Axe Confraternity and the 22's confraternity.... I had that Enugu state university of science and technology (Esuth) just finished there final Exam and some cult boys started attacking there enermies and on the process, they shot a Black Axe member.. The same group that shot someone were in a bar Celebrating, when some Axe men came in and sprayed Lot's of Bullet on them, confirming two dead, and many casualties... The secret battle is still on...... #SayNoToCultism
